The 2016 vintage in Sonoma County was almost perfect with moderate late winter rains, providing a healthy boost to the drought-stricken region. Moderate spring and summer weather led to elegant, profound wines with tremendous amounts of expression even at an early age.

This vintage of our Estate selection La Bienvenue comes from the eastern block of our vineyards in the front of the winery and is a blend of the Calera, LT, 23 and 828 clonal selections. The 23 and 828 clones were harvested the first week of September and were whole cluster fermented, allowing darker colors and deeper flavors to develop. The Calera and LT clones were harvested slightly later and contributed minerality, spice and depth of character to the finished wine. All were fermented using their native yeasts in open top fermenters with hand punch downs before being bottled.
This vintage of our Estate selection Les Parcelles Cachées comes from the western block of our vineyards in the back of the winery and is a blend of the Mt. Eden and Swan clonal selections. These blocks produce lower yields and a more concentrated flavor profile. Both were fermented using their native yeasts in open top fermenters with hand punchdowns before being bottled unfiltered.
A bouquet of toasted almonds, stone fruits and honeyed oranges greet the nose in this 2018 Estate Chardonnay. This is a balanced and pure wine with integrated acidity and flavors of lemon curd, white flowers and poached pear. The graceful texture and medium-bodied richness lead to a clean finish.
Our 2020 Pinot Noir Blanc white wine opens with citrus aromas of lemon and lime with a note of orange blossom. Bright and refreshing on the palate, flavors of grapefruit and stone fruit are complemented with a touch of blood orange. This is a balanced and crisp wine with a nice minerality on the finish.
The DeLoach Estate Rosé is made in the deliberate Rosé style: The grapes are hand-picked, sorted, destemmed for overnight juice-to-skin contact, and fermented in neutral oak barrels. Since the skins contain most of the tannins, this wine has a less tannic mouthfeel than typical saignée style Rosés.
