The grapes were hand-harvested on September 25, 2020 and fermented in open-top vats with hand punchdowns occurring twice a day, after which the must is basket-pressed and barrel-aged 15 months in French oak, 5% new.
The Fanucchi-Wood Road Vineyard is a seven-acre vineyard located in the cool Russian River Valley appellation of Sonoma County. Organically grown and dry-farmed, the Vineyard is primarily planted to Zinfandel on Goldridge Loam soil. Under the care of the Fanucchi family for the past 29 years, the head trained vines have been raised allowing for greater sun
