2019 Davenport Vineyard Rockpile Zinfandel

OVERVIEW

Located on the rugged hillside of the Rockpile AVA, the Davenport Vineyard overlooks the remote Lake Sonoma. This high elevation vineyard sees plenty of sunshine, sits above the fog line and is planted in rocky soils that stress the vines resulting in small grape yields that ripen early in the growing season. Flavors of blackberry jam, fig and baking spice are layered with notes of dried rose petals and baked plum.
