Devils Gulch, located in western Marin County, got its name due to its treacherous terrain. The vineyard, planted in 1980, is made up of steep terraces and shallow soils and when combined with the harsh climate of the Marin coast, results in small yields and berries that have a distinct expression. Spice characteristics are layered with sweet wild berries and nutmeg flavors with a touch of bay leaf. This Pinot Noir has a nice density to it with a savory finish that leaves an impression.
